Biography:

Jennifer L. Carner joined the Center of Black Digital Research as a CBDR Satellite Researcher in 2023. She is a graduate student (ABD) in the African American Preaching and Sacred Rhetoric program at Christian Theological Seminary. Her research focuses on homiletics, African American folk preaching, rhetoric, and ethics. She is currently in the process of writing her dissertation, "I Can Feel My Help!" The Folk Ethics in the Practice of African American Preaching and Sacred Proclamation.
