The Libraries Douglass Day team, in partnership with Douglass Day at the Center for Black Digital Research and the College of the Liberal Arts, invites you to join us for the next Douglass Day celebration on February 14, 2022 from 12-3 p.m. The focus will be “Where did they go? Black Women in the Colored Conventions.” This event is open to faculty, staff, students, and community members to come together to transcribe and index the names of women in the Colored Conventions movement.
Join the University Libraries Zoom room. Pre-register at: https://forms.gle/kPfThUyyySpPu5KBA.
The Libraries Douglass Day team will provide a virtual space for transcribing and streaming the live broadcast. Please spread the word and join us in this effort to make the fuller archive of the Colored Conventions movement accessible to broader audiences and future generations!
