Biography:

Justin Smith is a dual-title Ph.D. candidate in English and African American studies at The Pennsylvania State University and joined the Douglass Day team in 2019. Justin became a #DigBlk Scholar for the Center for Black Digital Research when it launched at Penn State. His research areas include early twentieth-century African American literature, Critical Race Theory, the Black Radical Tradition, and Digital Humanities.
