Biography:
Keon Burns joined the Center for Black Digital Research in 2021-2022. He is a Bunton-Waller Fellow and McCourtney Family Graduate scholar at Pennsylvania State University. He is a dual title PhD candidate in US History and African American Studies. He holds a Bachelor degree in Accountancy and Masters degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi. His research areas include Business History, late nineteenth and twentieth century United States, and African American history.
