Biography:

Takiya Jackson is a third-year undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Biobehavioral Health. She joined the Center for Black Digital Research this spring and is working with the Curriculum committee. She is currently working on the Colored Conventions Project and creating pathways for learners to access essential and historical information. Takiya’s interested in the history of black people’s plight especially within healthcare as well as finding solutions. She has a natural hair page on Instagram.
